The Chinese Government attaches great importance to the work of the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf and the involvement of developing countries as well. In December 2008, China made a contribution of twenty thousand US dollars again to the Voluntary Trust Fund established in accordance with the General Assembly Resolution 55/7 for the purpose of defraying the cost of participation of the members of the Commission from developing States in the meetings of the Commission.

 

 

中国向大陆架界限委员会有关基金再次捐款2万美元

中国政府非常重视大陆架界限委员会的工作，特别是发展中国家的参与，已于2008年12月向联合国的一项自愿信托基金再次捐款2万美元。该自愿信托基金是根据联合国大会第55/7号决议设立，旨在资助该委员会中来自发展中国家的委员参加委员会会议。
