China condemns all violent acts committed against women in armed conflict, urges all parties to the conflict to abide by international humanitarian and human rights law.  Those who commit crimes against women should be brought to justice. The international community should intensify its effort to protect and assist conflict-affected women.  At the same time, we encourage women to actively participate in conflict prevention and settlement and post-conflict peace-building. And we hope that the international community will create favorable conditions in this regard.
