On January 21, 2009, a group of 23 Political Science students from Calvin College in the State of Michigan, led by Professor of Political Science Mr. Robert DeVries, visited the Permanent Mission of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations. 

 

Chinese diplomats of the Mission briefed the students on China's foreign policy and answered their questions about China's positions on UN Security Council reform, climate change, Darfur, nuclear deterrence, democratic values,Tibet and Taiwan.
