On Wednesday, 1 April 1 2009, a 40-member delegation from the Toor Cummings Center for International Studies & the Liberal Arts of Connecticut College visited the Chinese Mission to the UN.

Diplomats from the Mission briefed the faculties and students on China's domestic and foreign policies and exchanged views with them on issues such as the global financial crisis, sustainable development, China's defense budget, human rights, income gap of the Chinese people, the Beijing Olympics and China's national image, and China's relations with Latin American countries.
