On May 7, 2009, Counselor Li Kexin of the Chinese Mission to the UN delivered a keynote speech at  the Turkish Cultural Center in New York, briefing the audience on China's global strategy and international positioning, China's economy and the measures it has taken to address the financial crisis.

Counselor Li also answered questions about the effect of China's economic stimulus package, China's view on  'G2", how to understand the "Beijing Consensus" and "China Model", changes in China's policy toward Africa, China-Turkey relations, China's new energy strategy and its political reform.
