On December 10th, Ambassador Zhang Jun, Permanent Representative of China to the UN met Ambassador Popolizio, Permanent Representative of Peru to the UN on China-Peru relations and their cooperation in the UN.

Zhang said, China-Peru Comprehensive Strategic Partnership is developing soundly and their practical cooperation continues to deepen. China is ready to widen the cooperation with Peru in the UN, jointly defend multilateralism and the role of the UN, and safeguard the common interest of developing countries.

Popolizio said, the relations between Peru and China is long and profound. The exchanges and cooperation between the two countris increase everyday. Peru is happy to strengthen its cooperation and coordination with China in the UN and give a big push to the development of bilateral relations.
