Ambassador Zhang Jun met with Permanent Representative of Guinea Ambassador Fatoumata Kaba

On December 12, Ambassador Zhang Jun met with Ambassador Fatoumata Kaba, Permanent Representative of Guinea to the United Nations. The two sides exchanged views on China-Guinea relations and cooperation between the two countries at the United Nations.

Ambassador Zhang Jun said that Guinea is the first countries to establish diplomatic relations with new China in sub-sahara Africa. China values the traditional friendship, and is willing to deepen cooperation with Guinea at the United Nations and continue to support each other on issues concerning core interests and major concerns.

Ambassador Kaba thanked China’s assistance to Guinea's development, spoke highly of China's constructive role in promoting the solution of African hot issues, and said that Guinea wishes to further deepen coordination and cooperation with China on UN affairs.
