On February 20, Ambassador Zhang Jun, Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations, met with the Permanent Representatives of ASEAN countries. They exchanged views on jointly combating COVID-19, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the UN, and strengthening cooperation on Security Council affairs.

The two sides hailed the success of the special China-ASEAN foreign ministers' meeting on fighting COVID-19 and agreed to strengthen unity on the UN platform, increase public health cooperation and promote the attainment of the sustainable development goals.
