Ambassador Wang Min, China’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, chaired a Security Council meeting in the capacity of the President of the Security Council for the month of June on 29 June. At the meeting, the Council unanimously adopted Resolution 2054, extending the term of office of the President of ICTR until 31 December 2014 and extending the terms of office of three judges of the Trial Chamber of ICTR until 31 December 2012 or until the completion of the relevant case.
