Ambassador Wang Min, China’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, chaired a Security Council meeting in the capacity of the President of the Security Council for the month of June on 29 June. The meeting heard the briefing by Mr. Abou Moussa, Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Regional Office for Central Africa (UNOCA), on the situation in the Central African Region and the issue of the Lord’s Resistance Army. The Council adopted a presidential statement on the LRA at the meeting.
