The "Chinese Film Festival" opens a window to Chinese culture, its way of life, its value, and its civilization. He has worked with the UN for many years, and this is the first time for China to hold a Chinese film festival at the UN. Such initiative needs praise and appreciation. He strongly encourages such efforts and hopes to see the Chinese film festival every year.

This current film festival will end on June 15, showing four films – Breaking the Silence, Jasmine Women, Not One Less and the Guasha Treatment. They are different in theme and style. The audiences find them both realistic and moving.
