Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan is to arrive today (Nov. 10) at New York, leading a Chinese delegation to attend the 56th regular session of the UN General Assembly from November 11th to 16th.  

During his stay here, the Foreign Minister will, among other things, speak at the general debate of the General Assembly and attend the Security Council Foreign Ministers' Meeting on Anita-terrorism as well as  the " 6+2" Foreign Ministers' Meeting on Afghanistan.  He will also be meeting with the UN Secretary-General, the President of the current session of the General Assembly and other foreign ministers separately.
