Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan will start the day by having breakfast with Dr. Henry Kissenger. He will then hold bilateral meeting with Foreign Minister of South Africa, followed by meeting with Secretary General Kofi Annan. After that he will meet with Secretary of State Colin Powell. He will also attend working luncheon hosted by Secretary General for the P5 Foreign Ministers of the Security Council. In the afternoon, he will attend high-level ad hoc meeting on Afghanistan before delivering a statement to the General Debate of the 57th Session of the General Assembly. He then will have talks with Secretary of Foreign Affairs of United Kingdom. He will wrap up the day by attending the reception hosted by President of the General Assembly Jan Kavan.
