On October 21st, 2009, over 40 UN interns from some 20 countries visited the Chinese Mission. Ambassador LIU Zhenmin, Deputy Permanent Representative of China to the UN, met and had photos taken with them. After a brief guided tour, they had a candid exchange of views with diplomats of the Mission on a spectrum of issues, including climate change, Security Council reform, the DPRK nuclear issue, the Iranian nuclear issue, Afghanistan, China-India relations, China's policies on citizenship and emigration, etc.
