On December 8, 2016, Premier Li Keqiang sent a message of condolences to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan over the crash of the Pakistan International Airlines flight.

Li Keqiang expressed in the message that I was shocked to learn that a passenger plane unfortunately crashed in Pakistan, and all passengers and crew members unfortunately died, including one Chinese citizen. On behalf of the Chinese government and in my own name, I would like to extend deep condolences to the victims and sincere sympathy to the bereaved families.
