More Leaders of Countries Mourn the Passing of Comrade Jiang Zemin

More leaders of countries have expressed their deep condolences by telegram, letter and other means to President Xi Jinping over the passing of Comrade Jiang Zemin.

King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua of the Kingdom of Thailand said that former President Jiang Zemin was not only an internationally renowned Chinese leader, but also “a family member” deeply revered by the Thai people. The state visit of former President Jiang Zemin to Thailand in 1999 had substantially advanced the development of Thailand-China relations.

King Mohammed VI of Morocco said that former President Jiang Zemin had made outstanding contributions to promoting China’s development and increasing China’s international standing.

President Hage Geingob of Namibia expressed his appreciation to former President Jiang Zemin for his indelible contributions to Namibia’s fight for independence and socioeconomic development. Former President Jiang Zemin’s passing is not only a loss to the Chinese people and the Communist Party of China, but also a loss to Namibia.

President Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil said that the Brazil-China relationship was elevated to a strategic partnership during the tenure of former President Jiang Zemin, and Brazil became the first developing country to establish a strategic partnership with China. President Bolsonaro extended his sincerest sympathy to the Chinese government and people.
