(Photo by UN Photo Library) Ambassador Li Baodong, President of the UN Security Council in June and China’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, chaired a Security Council meeting on 6 June. The Meeting heard the briefing of Margaret Vogt, Special Representative of the Secretary-General in the Central African Republic, on the current situation in the Central African Republic. The Security Council later held an informal consultation and exchanged views on the situation in this country. |
