Ambassador Li Baodong Chairs Security Council Meeting to Adopt a Resolution on Mandate Extension of the Panel of Experts Under the 1718 Committee

Chaired by Ambassador Li Baodong, President of the Security Council for the month of June and China’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, the Security Council meeting on 12 June unanimously adopted Resolution 2050 to extend the mandate of the Panel of Experts under the direction of the 1718 Committee to July 2013.
