Ambassador Li Baodong, President of the UN Security Council for the month of June and Permanent Representative of the China to the United Nations, chaired a Security Council informal consultation on 19 June. The meeting heard the reports of Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations Hervé Ladsous and Head of Mission of UNSMIS Major General Robert Mood on the latest situation in Syria and the work of UNSMIS.
