Ambassador Li Baodong, President of the Security Council for the month of June and China’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, chaired the Security Council monthly luncheon with the UN Secretary-General on 13 June. During the meeting, Security Council members exchanged views with the UN Secretary-General on such issues as Guinea Bissau, Mali, Somalia, Syria, Sudan and South Sudan, and Afghanistan.
