On April 6, 2009, a 30-member student delegation from Université Laval of Canada visited the Chinese Mission. Diplomats from the Mission briefed the delegation on China's domestic and foreign policies and answered questions on, among others, the global financial crisis, environmental protection, climate change, international trade, regional economic cooperation, the DPRK nuclear issue, Israeli-Palestinian conflicts,China's relations with other developing countries, micro-financing, food crisis and GM produts, and the qualifications of a good diplomat.

The students are currently in New York to attend the Model UN 2009 annual meeting. They represent the Chinese delegation at the annual meeting.
